A local connection

A new direction. A lasting passion.

A lifelong local, Marilyn grew up in Chicago and the northwest suburbs. She studied accounting at Northern Illinois University, where a part-time dental assisting job during college breaks introduced her to dentistry. That experience inspired a new direction for her career.

A career in dental hygiene.

Marilyn became a licensed dental hygienist in 1998 after studying at Harper College. The following year, she began practicing hygiene full time in Park Ridge, in the Parkside professional building at Lutheran General Hospital. Today, she is part of the Atlas Dental team as our dental hygienist.
